Destiny 2 Dawning is an annual event during the holiday season. What exactly is the Flash of Inspiration?
The Flash of Inspiration is a special type of material that you can obtain by completing Dawning activities. They are tradeable for a Dawning Spirit which in return can be used to purchase Dawning gifts.
How Can you Get Flash of Inspiration?
When you generate an Orb of Power there’s a change you will get a Flash of Inspiration. However, the method isn’t as straightforward as it once was. In order to generate Orbs of Power you will need to have at least one Siphon mod in your helmet, it has certain requirements to work such as:
- Harmonic Siphon requires one energy slot, and you will have to get multi-kills with a weapon that matches your subclass element.
- Kinetic siphon allows you to generate Orbs of Power with Kinetic weapon multi-kills which costs three energy.
- Also, Element-specific Siphon mods are linked to the armour’s affinity.
Recipes using Flash of Inspiration
- The Traveler Donut Holes recipe has three main ingredients: Flash of Inspiration, Cabal Oil, Dawning Essence.
- The Candy Dead Ghosts recipe has the following ingredients: Flash of Inspiration, Dark Ether Cane, Dawning Essence.
You can get Cabal Oil from killing Cabal enemies, and you can get Dark Ether Cane from defeating Scorn enemies.
