Where can you find Ting-Lu?
You can find Ting-Lu in the Northwest part of the map more specifically in Socorrat Trail in Lake Casseroya. If you attend all the history classes at the Academy and speak with Ms. Raifort when afterwards she will mark the Groundblight Shrine as well as all the shrines’ locations on your overworld map. Green Ominous Stakes Locations
The locations of the eight Green Ominous Stakes are marked in the map below. After pulling all eight of them from the ground the shrine will unlock and all you must do is go to Ting-Lu’s location and capture him. Once you do it you will hear a mysterious cry coming from the shrine.
How to Catch Ting-Lu
Ting-Lu is a level 60 Dark/Ground type Pokémon meaning he will be immune to Electric and Psychic Pokémon while being vulnerable to Water, Fighting, Bug, Grass, Ice and Fairy. You will want to steer clear from these types when attempting to capture Ting-Lu. Instead go with a Flying type Pokémon since it’s resistant to him and not overpowered so you don’t accidentally knock him. Keep in mind its Vessel of Ruin ability will lower your team’s Special Attack.
You need to be careful not to knock out the Pokémon since if you do you won’t be able to catch it ever again. Unless you disable auto save and reload the game and try again.
Lastly but not least bring some Ultra, Quick, Dusk and Timer balls. They will give you the best chance at succeeding.
We hope you were able to catch Ting-Lu without much trouble. If you liked this guide, make sure to check out our other Pokémon Scarlet and Violet Articles!
