So, let’s dive in and learn how to unleash the power of the Crossguard stance in Star Wars Jedi: Survivor.
What is the Crossguard Stance?
In Star Wars Jedi: Survivor, the Crossguard stance is a unique way to fight that provides Cal with additional skills and abilities. By choosing the Crossguard stance in one of his two stance slots, Cal can access a heavy-hitting, slower-paced fighting style that deals more damage per hit and is perfect for breaking enemy defenses. Additionally, the Crossguard stance has its own dedicated skill tree, which unlocks new abilities such as ‘Rending Strike’ that allows Cal to perform a powerful, high damage swing with a longer windup time when using the standard attack button. Overall, the Crossguard stance offers an alternative and powerful way to fight in Star Wars Jedi: Survivor.
How to Get The Crossguard Stance
Acquiring the Crossguard stance in Star Wars Jedi: Survivor is a straightforward process that you will encounter as part of the story progression. Here are the steps to follow:
- Complete the main objectives on the planet Jedha. You’ll know you’re close to unlocking the Crossguard stance when you’re asked to go to the Shattered Moon.
- Follow your main objectives until you reach a dome building in the ‘Superstructure Fabricators’ area. There will be a meditation point just outside the building, and you’ll need to cross a gap using two ropes hanging from above to get inside.
- Meditate and rest at the point to restore your health, force, and stim packs. Then pick up the device on the far left corner of the room to trigger a boss fight that you’ll need to complete to acquire the Crossguard stance.
- Once you defeat the boss, a cutscene will play in which Cal customizes his lightsaber to unlock the Crossguard stance for use.
- Test the stance against a few enemies as you make your way to the next objective. The game will prompt you to equip the Crossguard stance, but you can choose to not equip it if you prefer. It can be swapped out freely at any meditation point.
Overall, acquiring the Crossguard stance in Star Wars Jedi: Survivor is a natural part of the story progression, and it’s a powerful and unique technique that can help you overcome tough opponents.
