How to Get the Master Sword
In Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, the process of obtaining the Master Sword is quite different from Breath of the Wild. This time around, the sword isn’t just tucked away in a hidden area. It’s actually mobile, which makes the task of finding it much more challenging. To begin the process of obtaining the sword, you have the option to speak to the Deku Tree after purifying Great Hyrule Forest. While this step is not mandatory, it will show the location of the Master Sword on your map, which can be quite helpful.
Next, you will need to locate the Light Dragon, which is mostly white and gold in color, with a blue streak coming from its head. This dragon is flying above Hyrule and can be challenging to spot. Once you locate it, you’ll need to find a way to reach the top of the dragon. There are several ways to do this, but one of the easiest is to fast-travel to the nearest Skyview Tower and ride it up to the dragon before paragliding to it.
