The Align Stars challenge is part of the Oathbound quest. This is a story focused challenge that Fortnite brought to the new Chapter 4. To successfully align the starts you will need to damage them in the correct order which can be quite tricky if you don’t know what you’re doing. This how to align Star Sensors in Fortnite will show you exactly how to do this.
Before you can even start attempting to do this challenge you will need to have reached the second set of Oathbound quests in Fortnite.
How to Place the Sensors
To align star sensors, you will need to place them first. To do this head to Hidden Henge this landmark is located northwest of Faulty Splits. When you get there interact with the glowing outlines around the stone circle.
How to Align the Star Sensors
The concept on how to align the star sensors is fairly simple. All you need to do is hit them with your pickaxe in the correct order. Each sensor is marked with a phase of the lunar cycle. The correct order is crescent moon on the right side, then half moon on the right side, followed by full moon, then half moon on the left side, and finally, crescent moon on the left side.
- Crescent moon on the right side.
- Half-moon on the right side.
- Full moon.
- Half-moon the left side.
- Crescent moon on the left side.
If you accidentally hit the wrong one, it will flash and turn grey. Just keep going since the sensors won’t reset.
Once you’ve finish aligning the star sensors all you have to do is head on over to the cosmic monitor and interact with it. This will complete this challenge.
