How to Capture a Unicorn
Before you are able to capture a unicorn you will need to fulfil three requirements, you must complete at least one Beast class, you must progress in the game to unlock Room of Requirement and Vivarium, and finally but not least, you must complete The Elf, The Nab-Sack, and the Loom Quest to get the Nab-Sack. If you meet these requirements keep reading on how to get this magical creature.
To successfully capture a Unicorn, you will want to cast the Disillusionment spell on yourself to stop it from noticing you, then you will want to approach it slowly, cast Levioso at it and use your Nab-Sack to catch it. Once you capture it, you can release it in your Vivarium.
How to Breed Unicorns
To breed Unicorns in Hogwarts Legacy you will need to catch both female and male Unicorns, as well as build the necessary utilities in the Room of Requirement. Keep in mind that after you capture a Unicorn it will take a few days until a new one spawns in the Unicorn Den, since there’s only one spawned at a time.
The utilities you will need to breed are the blueprints of the Beast Breeding Pen from the Tomes and Scrolls shop in Hogsmeade. Then you will need to head to the Room of Requirement, use the Conjuring Spell to craft the Beast Breeding Pen inside the desired Vivarium. And finally, interact with the book in front of the Pen and a Unicorn should appear as an option.
