Hogwarts Legacy is an action role-playing video game set in the Wizarding World of Harry Potter. As a student at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, players will have the opportunity to learn magic, make friends, and go on exciting adventures. One of the quests that players will encounter is called “Birds of a Feather,” which involves finding and capturing a magical bird. How to Complete Birds of a Feather
Embark on a quest to save Gwyneira by talking to Marianne and agreeing to help. The quest will lead players to the Diricawl den, which is marked with a quest marker. However, Gwyneira will only be visible during nighttime hours, and players may need to adjust the time by accessing the map screen and pressing the right analog stick if it’s currently daytime. To identify Gwyneira, players should look for her bright white feathers, and she will be labeled as “Gwyneira the Diricawl” when targeted.
To capture Gwyneira, players must target her and use the Nab Sack item, similar to capturing other creatures. However, Gwyneira requires four stages to be caught, unlike the beasts caught during the Nab Sack tutorial quest with Deek the House Elf. During the capturing process, Gwyneira will move around quite actively, but players should be able to capture her within a reasonable amount of time if they can keep up with her movements.
Rewards
- Three options are given to players:
- Give Gwyneira to Marianne – receive 300 Galleons
- Choose “It’ll cost you.” – receive 500 Galleons
- Keep Gwyneira and take her back to the Room of Requirement – no money received, but witness Marianne cursing players out
- Whichever option is chosen, players receive:
- 180 XP
- Debonair Socialite Ensemble, a cosmetic item to customize Gear appearance
