Shrine Location
Here’s a step-by-step guide to finding the In-Isa Shrine in Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom:
- Location and Coordinates: The In-Isa Shrine is situated on the western side of the Great Sky Island, southwest of the Temple of Time. Its precise coordinates are (0027, -1503, 1408).
- Route from the Gutanbac Shrine: If you have completed the Gutanbac Shrine first, descend the snowy mountain by using Ascend on the hollow tree near the shrine. Utilize the gliders on the other side of the tree to fly back down to the area outside the Temple of Time. You’ll find the Archaic Warm Greaves inside the tree.
- Starting the Journey: Begin at the hill south of the Ukouh Shrine. Ascend the stairs and find a railing that leads to the next section of the Great Sky Island.
- Creating Platforms: Similar to the Ukouh Shrine challenge, use planks and hooks nearby to construct a platform that will safely transport you to the next section of the island.
- Crossing the Broken Bridge: Notice that the bridge you need to cross is broken. Use Ultrahand to create your own bridge by attaching four logs together in a horizontal shape. Logs can be found in the area, and you can also cut down trees for more resources. A Stone Axe is available next to a Zonai Construct for this task.
- Heading East and Crossing Another Bridge: After constructing the bridge, head east and cross another bridge that is intact. Along the way, you’ll encounter a Zonai Construct with arrows and an Old Wooden Bow nearby.
- Following the River Southwards: Follow the river southwards, where you may encounter a Construct offering a cooking lesson and three Soldier Constructs to defeat. Defeating the Soldier Constructs will unlock a chest containing an Opal.
- Reaching the Cliff and the Shrine: Eventually, you’ll reach a cliff overlooking a lake where the shrine is located. Head west until you reach another railing.
- Creating a Platform and Soaring through the Sky: Use logs, hooks, and Ultrahand to create another platform for traversing the railing. Cut down a tree for a tree log to have enough room to transport a nearby Korok to their friend on the next island. Attach two hooks if you have the Korok with you. Attach your platform to the railing, jump on it, and enjoy the view as you soar through the sky.
- On the Next Island: On the next small island, bring the Korok to their friend if you have them with you, earning two Korok Seeds. Regardless, grab the sail on the ground with Ultrahand and attach it to the side of your platform. Move the platform onto the next railing and jump aboard.
- Sailing across the Lake: Before starting to sail, remove the hooks from your platform and place the sail upright on it. Place the raft on the water and jump aboard. Use Ultrahand to adjust the sail if the wind changes direction.
- Arrival at the In-Isa Shrine: Upon reaching the other side of the lake, follow the path that leads to a set of stairs. These stairs will bring you to the In-Isa Shrine. Be prepared to face a couple of Chuchus and a Soldier Construct on your way.
With these step-by-step instructions, you’re now ready to conquer the challenges within the In-Isa Shrine and unlock the coveted Fuse ability in Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom.
How to Complete the In-Isa Fuse Shrine
Step-by-Step Guide to Unlocking and Mastering the Fuse Ability in Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom:
- Unlocking the Fuse Ability: Upon entering the In-Isa Shrine, the Fuse ability will be unlocked. This ability allows you to fuse various materials and objects to weapons, shields, and arrows, enhancing their power, durability, and occasionally granting useful powers.
- Acquiring the Rusty Claymore: As you enter the In-Isa Shrine, you’ll come across a Rusty Claymore. It is recommended to pick up this weapon as it is quite powerful for the starting area of the Great Sky Island.
- Fusing Objects and Breaking Through: Fuse one of the nearby rocks to either the Rusty Claymore or another weapon. Use the fused weapon to break through the stone wall blocking your path.
- Chest and Collectibles: In the next room, atop a pillar in the top left-hand corner, you’ll find a chest containing five arrows. After opening the chest, head to the right to collect Fire Fruit, five arrows, and an Old Wooden Bow.
- Fusing Fire Fruit and Unlocking a Chest: Fuse a Fire Fruit to an arrow and shoot the leaves surrounding the chest on the far right wall near the Fire Fruit bushes. This chest contains a Small Key. Return to the area after the breakable wall where you’ll find a door to unlock.
- Confronting the Soldier Construct: Follow the path in the new room and climb the ladder to encounter a Soldier Construct who can also fuse weapons. Defeat the Construct using various strategies, such as fusing weapons using the spikes on the left platform or setting fire to the leaves on the floor with Fire Fruit-fused arrows. Beware of the Construct’s arrow attacks.
- Breaking Through the Stone Wall: After defeating the Soldier Construct, break the stone wall with your boulder-fused weapon. If the weapon is destroyed, fuse one of the nearby stones to a new weapon. This will lead you to the end of the shrine. Interact with the green circle to collect your Light of Blessing.
- Obtaining the Archaic Tunic: Remember to collect the Archaic Tunic, which is not far from the shrine’s location.
- Continuing Your Quest: To further progress in the game, you can choose to visit the Gutanbac Shrine to acquire the Ascend ability or, if you already have it, return to the Temple of Time to complete The Closed Door quest.
By following these step-by-step instructions, you’ll unlock and harness the power of the Fuse ability, allowing you to enhance your weapons and overcome challenges in Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom.
