One Piece Odyssey is a JRPG based in the world-famous anime One Piece and filled with side stories that players can take on. Night Exterminator is one of these side stories and in order to complete it you will need to find and travel to specific places which can be quite tricky if you don’t know what you’re doing. This how to complete the Night Exterminator side story in One Piece Odyssey is the guide you need to finish this quest in no time!
You will only be able to find this side-story until Chapter 3 when you return to Alabasta during the main story.
Where to Start the Side Story
As we mentioned before you will need to have completed Chapter 2 before attempting the side story. If you meet this requirement then go ahead and go to Sandy Oasis in the Great Sandy Desert and find a NPC that needs your help. She will be at the location on the map below on the left side of the bridge leading to the campsite. Mitt wants to go see her father, but the service that goes to his place has been suspended, because the Deluck Brothers are active at night. So you will have to defeat them.
How to Complete Night Exterminator
This side quest has a certain peculiarity about it… You won’t be able to find the Deluck Brothers unless it’s night time. If it happens to be daytime when you decide to take on the quest just go to a nearby camp and have a party and you will be given an option to rest until a certain period of time. Choose until night-time and when you wake up you will be ready to take on the quest!
Now that you’re ready to take on some blue scorpions aka the Deluck Brothers head southeast from the Oasis and look for some large blue scorpions. They come in packs of at least 3 and you will need to defeat 10 of them in order to complete the side story. So, trigger a battle with them, defeat them, and move on to the next. The scorpions are all Technique-types so avoid using any Power-type characters when fighting them. You will only need to fight around 3 packs to complete the quest since they will be composed of 3 or more scorpions.
Upon defeating the 10 Deluck Brothers go ahead and travel back to where Mitt is to complete the side story and be rewarded with 500 Mitt’s Ring.
