How to Find Holo Chests
To locate Holo Chests in Fortnite, the most straightforward method is to acquire a Key and have it in your inventory. These keys can be found as ground loot, in chests, or as rewards for capturing Capture Points. Once you have a Key, Holo Chests will appear on your mini-map, marked with a white padlock icon. Although named locations may offer more opportunities to find Holo Chests, exploring groups of buildings throughout the map can also reveal them. Using vehicles, such as the new Rogue Bike, can be advantageous for scouting out these clusters of buildings. Holo Chests can be identified by their small, grey chests projecting holographic images of weapons. Typically, these chests require only one key to unlock, while some may require two, which are usually for Exotic weapons and items.
