Pokémon Scarlet and Violet brought a whole new batch of Pokémon along with brand new evolutions! Several of these evolutions require special methods and Kingambit is one of them. To obtain Kingambit you will need to evolve Bisharp and it requires a special item called the Leader’s Crest. Where can you find a Bisharp?
The first step in getting a Kingambit is catching a Bisharp or a Pawniard. Since Bisharp is Parniard’s evolution and Kingambit is Bisharps’.
To evolve Bisharp you will have to capture a specific one anyways, so you don’t necessarily need to go to the locations below and capture one though if you capture one early one it might be higher level. We will leave that decision to your discretion.
You can find Bisharp in bamboo groves of Northern Province Area Two or Area Zero. All you have to do is go to one of these locations and look for one. Be mindful that they will be over level 50, so this won’t be an easy task to complete.
If you’re having trouble finding and/or capturing a Bisharp you can always try going for its devolution a Pawniard. They will certainly be easier to find and catch early game. You can find these Pokémon in East Province Area Three, Inlet Grotto, North Province Area Two, and South Province Area Five. There’s no shortage of places you can find him! He will evolve into Bisharp when he reaches level 52.
How to evolve Bisharp?
Evolving Bisharp is a relatively easy task to do. However, there’s a few steps you need to follow so we compiled a list below will all the steps you need to take and a brief explanation below it.
- Step 1 – Obtain the Leader’s Crest item
- Step 2 – Make your Bisharp hold the Leader’s Crest item.
- Step 3 – With your Bisharp, defeat three wild Bisharp leading a pack of Pawniard.
- Step 4 – Level up to evolve into Kingambit.
You can obtain the Leader’s Crest item by using or catching a Bisharp that is surrounded by Pawniards in North Province Area Two.
Give the Bisharp you want to evolve the Leader’s Crest to hold. While holding it you need to fight three Bisharp who are surrounded by Pawniard.
If you’ve done this correctly, level up your Bisharp and it will evolve into Kingambit.
