Make sure you have a steering stick to control the boat, as the water’s current pushes away from the dock’s entrance.
- Getting a Boat Without Materials: If you lack materials, there’s a ready-made boat on the western side of the Hyrule Castle Moat. Note that this boat doesn’t have a steering stick or fans, so you’ll navigate it using the sail and a Korok-Frond guster. If you lack a Korok-Frond guster, create one by combining a Korok-Frond and a tree branch. You can find these items by chopping trees southwest of the boat’s starting point.
