If you’re looking to level up your Battle Pass in Fortnite, then completing challenges is a great way to earn XP and unlock rewards. One challenge that you might encounter is to knock back players with Kinetic Blade, a powerful melee attack that can send enemies flying and deal massive damage. While this might seem like a daunting task, mastering Kinetic Blade is not only essential for completing this challenge, but it can also give you an edge in combat and help you secure more victories. In this article, we’ll show you how to effectively use Kinetic Blade to knock back players, provide some tips on timing and positioning, and give you some strategies for completing this challenge and earning that valuable XP for your Battle Pass.
Where to find a Kinetic Blade?
Fortnite has recently introduced a new Epic (purple) weapon called the Kinetic Blade, which resembles a katana. These weapons can be found in various locations where weapons typically spawn, such as chests, vaults, or scattered on the ground. In addition, Kinetic Blades may also appear on specially designated stands, as depicted in the accompanying image. For those seeking to acquire this weapon, it is advisable to search the northwest region of Mega City, where a pair of Kinetic Blades can often be located.
How to Knockback Players with Kinetic Blade
The Kinetic Blade in Fortnite possesses two distinct attacks: a dash attack triggered by pressing the aim button, and a knockback attack triggered by pressing the shoot button. The dash attack propels the player towards and even through their target, covering a surprisingly large distance in the process. In contrast, the knockback attack involves a more intimate interaction with the opponent.
To fulfill the requirements of the “Master the Blade” season quest, players must successfully execute three knockback attacks on any three opponents, or alternatively, three knockback attacks on a single, unfortunate opponent. It is important to note that completion of this challenge does not necessitate performing all three knockback attacks within a single match. Rather, as long as a player can execute three knockback attacks at any point, the challenge will be marked as complete.
