In this article, we’ll explore some strategies and tips that players can use to maintain their health and shields while on a grind rail, making them a force to be reckoned with on the battlefield.
Where can you find a Grind Rail?
You can find Grind Rails in a couple different locations. These rails allow players to swiftly skate through different locations, and the Mega City Point of Interest is abundant in them, providing players with the opportunity to slide from top to bottom of the city. For those who prefer a more natural setting, additional Grind Rails can be found at the Neon Bay Bridge Landmark, located between Steamy Springs and Kenjutsu Crossing. To make these rails more visible, they are painted in neon yellow, pink, and green colors, making them easy to spot, particularly in low-light conditions.
How to Restore Health or Shields While on a Grind Rail
To complete the Weekly Quest in Fortnite that involves restoring Health and/or Shields while on a Grind Rail, follow these simple steps:
Step 1: Find Healing Items – The first step is to gather consumables that restore Health and/or Shields. Small Shield Potions, Shield Potions, Slurp Juice, and Chug Splashes are ideal choices as they can be used even when you’re not low on Health.
Step 2: Reach MEGA City – Land anywhere in MEGA City and search the surrounding area for loot that can help you achieve the goal of restoring a total of 100 Health and/or Shields.
Step 3: Get on a Grind Rail – Once you have enough Healing Items, locate the nearest Grind Rail and hop on. To get on a Grind Rail, interact with it as you would a Fortnite Zipline or Fortnite Ascender.
Step 4: Use Healing Items – While riding the Grind Rail, you can use weapons and Healing Items at the same time. Take advantage of this and consume the Healing Items you gathered earlier, such as Shield Potions.
Step 5: Restore Enough Health and/or Shields – Restore a total of 100 Health and/or Shields while riding the Grind Rail to complete the Weekly Quest. Once you do, you’ll earn 12K XP toward your Battle Pass and Season Level, kick-starting your journey through Chapter 4 Season 2.
