Garden of the Dead is a Favour this means its like a sidequest in God of War: Ragnarök. You can complete this quest in Vanaheim where you will help Astrid’s spirit eliminate the poison damaging her garden. In this how to solve Garden of the Dead article we will give you a full walkthrough on how to complete it.
To start this adventure, you need to go to a region called Noatun’s Garden and defeat the enemies there. Then you can find Astrid’s spirit outside one of the structures. Talk to her and Freya will ask you to help her remove the poison from the region.
How to complete the Sidequest
In order to complete the quest, you need to find and destroy three poison totens. Follow the steps bellow accordingly.
Totem 1:
- Step 1: Go around the building right of Astrid’s spirit.
- Step 2: Find and explosive bomb hidden behind some rocks.
- Step 3: Destroy the poisonous totem.
Totem 2:
- Step 1: Head to the building on the left.
- Step 2: Climb the wall.
- Step 3: Now look at the other building and you should see the second totem.
- Step 4: Throw your Leviathan Axe at the chain holding the explosive.
Totem 3:
- Step 1: Head to the structure behind Astrid’s spirit.
- Step 2: Go around the structure and find a gap between the walls.
- Step 3: Throw your axe through it and hit the explosive vase.
You are all done now! You can talk to Astrid’s spirit to complete the quest. There’s some extras you can collect before ending the quest. If you’re interested don’t talk to Astrid yet and keep reading below.
How to get the Extras
When heading to the building where totem number 2 is you can collect an Artefact named Hoenir’s Crest from the ground. After climbing the wall, you can find Lore in the form of a Lore Marker named Garden’s Progress. And finally, you can get some Hacksilver and Dwarven Steel from a red chest by falling down the hole in the roof.
On the opposite side of Astrid’s spirit open a red chest and you will find Lunda’s Broken Cuirass inside.
