- Use a rifle to take out the archers on the balcony first, then deal with the zealots in melee range who will approach you soon.
- Destroy the wooden shields of zealots with shooting, or flank them and shoot from the side or behind. Aiming at the head will finish them off quickly.
- Be aware of Ashley’s location while fighting the zealots, and shoot them if they try to grab her before they carry her off or kill her.
- After killing all of the zealots in the area, loot the area, including the pots positioned on the railing around the room, then walk down the left set of stairs, as you’re facing the opposite side of the room from where you entered.

- Give Ashley a leg up to the level above you, and she’ll immediately begin moving to the halo wheels to raise the other platforms.
- Protect Ashley from the zealots who will begin attacking her from the above level that she’s on. Kill them as they approach her, preferably using weapons with decent long-range capabilities.
- Keep an eye out for any zealots who approach you on the current level. You can switch to a shorter-range gun such as a handgun to deal with these by shooting them in the head.
- Once Ashley has raised both platforms and you’ve killed all the zealots, walk over the bridge to reach the courtyard and finish the chapter.
