One Piece Odyssey is an RPG project to commemorate One Piece brand’s 25th Anniversary, which combines classic staples of the JRPG genre with the unique elements of One Piece. This game has been lovingly crafted over many years to ensure that fans can truly touch the world of One Piece… and now, One Piece Odyssey is ready to set sail! When dealing with any JRPG adventure fast traveling is a must. It makes a player’s journey that much easier and simpler. In this guide we will tell you how to unlock fast travel in One Piece Odyssey!
How Can You Unlock Fast Travel?
Players won’t be able to fast travel until they have reached a certain point in Chapter Two meaning you must complete all of Chapter One before even being able to unlock this ability. During Chapter Two you will find Luffy and his companions make their way through the Great Sandy Desert and eventually they will come across a Yoisa standing next to one of the Taxi signs. Upon defeating the creatures that you saw attacking the Yoisa you will be rewarded with the ability to fast travel between the Taxi Signs.
In case you didn’t notice you will discover signposts during chapter one of One Piece Odyssey. These will be available to fast travel within them from one location to the other. Basically, only the signs you have found will be available for fast travel. You will have to explore every location if you wish to be able to fast travel to certain signposts.
Are there any other means of traveling in One Piece Odyssey?
Further into the game another means of fast travelling will become available. This new transport is called Crab Mover and the way this works is very similar to the Taxi signs except the signs will have a crab symbol. You can unlock the Crab Mover upon defeating the big Banana Gator in the cave north of the Great Sandy Desert Oasis. You have come across the Crab before in the Sandora Dragons where you save him and as a reward he will agree to help you cross the sandy river to the Rain Dinners Casino. From this point on you will be able to call the Crab Mover to take you to different regions.
