With the launch of Warzone 2 came a change to the Gulag. The lobby size jumped to a 2V2, and they added an AI. With all these new variables in play it can be quite difficult trying to win a spot back in the regular Battle Royal match. This how to win a 2v2 in the Gulag guide will hopefully give you all the pointers you need.
Before we get started you should understand how the new Gulag works. As we said earlier it’s a 2v2 battle now and you will find yourself fighting alongside a random temporary ally and wielding a predetermined loadout. The goal is the same just eliminate your opponents and you will earn a spot back in the game. There’s also an AI known as the Jailer if you take him out all four players go back into Al Mazrah.
How can you improve the chances of winning the Gulag?
The thing that’s going to give you an extra advantage is communication. You need to remember you’re playing against another newly formed duo. If you’re able to strategize and communicate with your teammate it will dramatically improve your chances of survival.
We recommend you stick to the outside walls as often as possible. There’s a lot of enemies you need to be wary of and keeping your back against a surface will reduce your chances of being flanked by one of them while also luring the AI out from the middle of the Gulag.
This tip won’t always work but if you start focusing the AI as soon as the round starts there’s a chance the other team will too ensuring the survival of all four players.
The loadouts are predetermined meaning you might get a shotgun on some occasion so it’s important to strategize around the weapon your dealt. You will get to pick up extra Lethal and Tactical weapons these are crucial to winning in the Gulag so make sure to pick them up. Flanking is also one of your best bets at beating the enemies.
