How to Get Bloodmoon Ursaluna
To get Bloodmoon Ursaluna you will need to register 150 Kitakami Pokémon before you can advance to capturing it.
How to Register 150 Kitakami Pokémon Quickly in The Teal Mask:
- Upon arriving in Kitakami, locate a woman named Perrin west of the school.
- Talk to Perrin, and she will assign you the task of registering 150 Pokémon in your Kitakami Pokédex.
- If you completed your Paldea Pokédex, you’ll already have 100 Pokémon registered in your Kitakami Pokédex automatically (possibly 101 if you evolved Johtoan Wooper into Quagsire).
- To swiftly register the remaining Pokémon, wander around the area and use Quick Balls on any Pokémon you haven’t registered yet. Consider leading your party with a Pokémon that knows False Swipe, which helps if the Quick Ball fails.
- Check if a Pokémon is already registered by targeting it with ZL; registered Pokémon will have a Poké Ball icon next to their names.
- If you grow tired of catching Pokémon before reaching 150, you can use candy to level up your newly-caught Pokémon and evolve them for additional entries. Most Pokémon in Kitakami start at around level 60, so leveling them once should suffice for evolution (with some exceptions).
How to Capture Bloodmoon Ursaluna:
- After registering 150 Kitakami Pokémon, you will need to battle Perrin.
- Defeat Perrin’s two Pokémon in battle.
- Perrin will instruct you to meet her in the Timeless Woods.
- In the Timeless Woods, assist Perrin by taking pictures for her and engaging in conversation.
- Together, you will embark on a quest to locate the “Bloodmoon Beast,” which is the Bloodmoon Ursaluna.
- In battle, the Bloodmoon Ursaluna functions similarly to a Titan, with high HP. You cannot catch it like regular Pokémon.
- After defeating the Bloodmoon Ursaluna in battle, a catch prompt will appear, allowing you to use any Poké Ball to capture it, guaranteeing success.
- Note that you cannot evolve Ursaring into Bloodmoon Ursaluna, as it is considered an event Pokémon, and this is currently the only way to obtain it. Keep it in your collection as it may not be available through other means for now.
