How to Get Barbarian Armour
How to Get the Armor Chest Piece
- Head to Crenel Hills Cave, located at the coordinates (0484, 0729, 0041), northeast of Lookout Landing and southwest of “Crenel Hills” on the map.
- Look for Luminous Stone ores on each side of the cave entrance and follow them into the cave.
- Inside the cave, you’ll find numerous ores to destroy, but if you’re focused on obtaining the armor, follow these steps.
- The cave is circular with pillars surrounding it. Head towards the center where a Stone Talus will emerge from the water. Be prepared for a tough battle.
- Alternatively, if you want to avoid the Stone Talus, drop off to the ground level and stick closely to the left wall. Circle the cave, making noise, and destroying ores and picking up items.
- Once you reach the other side of the cave, you’ll see an open path above.
- Climb towards the path until you reach the end, where you’ll find the chest containing the Barbarian Armor chest piece. It has a base defense of 3 and grants +1 attack power.
How to Get the Armor Legs Piece
- Journey to Walnot Mountain Cave, located at the coordinates (3931, -2068, 0129), east of Hateno Village and past the Hateno Ancient Tech Lab.
- Zoom in on the map to find the cave entrance, which is situated next to a small lake south of Retsam Forest.
- Be prepared for a challenging cave with tough enemies, including Bokoblins, ice Keese, and ice Like Likes.
- If you have sufficient gear, you can face the enemies head-on. Otherwise, make a run for it to acquire the armor.
- Within the first half of the cave, defeat the Keese with any melee weapon as they are relatively weak.
- Look for an opening that allows you to climb to the upper level, where the Bokoblins patrol.
- Follow the path that leads to the end of the cave, protected by an ice Like Like hanging from the ceiling. Avoid its attacks and jump across the gap to reach the chest room.
- The chest containing the Barbarian Leg Wraps will be encased in ice. Use fire fruits or a lit torch to melt the ice and open the chest.
- The Barbarian Leg Wraps have a base defense of 3 and grant +1 attack power.
How to Get the Armor Head Piece
- Make your way to Robred Dropoff Cave, situated at the coordinates (2487, -1467, 0013), southeast of Karariko Village.
- On the map, locate the entrance slightly northwest of the “Robred Dropoff” name and south of Phalian Highlands.
- Look for multiple stone statues that act as markers leading to the cave entrance.
- Follow the stone statues, which subtly guide you towards the treasure.
- The cave may seem complicated, but the key is to pay attention to the direction the stone statues are facing.
- Destroy rock walls using explosive items like bomb flowers or weapons infused with a rock to navigate through the cave.
- In the first large room, there are stone statue groups and three possible paths. Choose the path where a group of three statues faces a rock wall.
- Proceed through the cave, following the path that leads to a room full of Bokoblins.
- The chest is located on the other side of the room, but a locked door separates you from it. Destroy the rocks in the center of the room using bomb flowers or weapons with a stone.
- Once the rocks are cleared, the path will lead you to a room with three stone statue groups.
- Stand in front of the group with three stone statues, ascend, and you will reach the chest room.
- Open the chest to obtain the Barbarian Helm, which has a base defense of 3 and grants +1 attack power.
- Use Ascend to return to the previous path or fast travel if you wish to leave the cave.
- Wearing the complete Barbarian Armor set in Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom grants +3 attack power. However, equipping at least one piece of the set will still provide benefits.
